If you sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account, you lot need to apply a password. Your password helps keep your business relationship secure, no thing what PC you sign in to or what apps, settings, and services you utilize while you're signed in. If you don't want to enter your password every time you lot sign in, you can create other sign-in options to use with your account, like a picture password or a PIN.
Moreover, you can also Sign with Local account to access your PC with out password. Navigate to Start/> Settings/>Accounts/>Your Account/> Sign with local business relationship Instead. Follow the steps to switch the same. You may exit password field as blank when you're settings local account.

It would exist password protected, I merely wouldn't lock it when I'm not using it or have it lock itself when it logs off? Isn't that the way information technology works? If your scenario were the case, information technology's not locked now because I'thou using it and they could hack it now? I'll probably go out it the way it is and pigment the password beyond the bottom of my reckoner desk.

I found out how to practice information technology! I must be getting adept at computers. You lot go to power options and there's choices. You lot just cull the one that says no password necessary subsequently wake upwardly. Information technology says information technology's non recommended because everyone can access your reckoner when information technology wakes up but nobody's going to access it while I'm home and when I go out habitation I tin just practise the command, alt, delete and lock it. This used to work but now they've "upgraded" and information technology doesn't anymore. I'm tired of computers thinking they know what i desire better than i do!

I am trying to modify when I get the lock screen. I'one thousand fine with getting it when I plow on my laptop when it's totally turned off. I practice Non want information technology to ask me for my password every time I hide information technology or especially when it goes to sleep! I walk away to do something else for ten minutes and I come up dorsum but to get the lock screen asking for my password. It happens around 10 times a solar day and it'south really a pain.
I followed both examples above, only did non get what both answers said I'd get. I got no pick under Power Options for the lock screen. All I take is stuff like when pc goes to sleep. I also tried the following suggestion:
"Press Windows Key, type settings and select Setting from the list
* Navigate to Account />Sign-In options/>Lock Screen />Screen fourth dimension out
* Change the value equally required under Screen as per requirement."
I don't have any Sign-in options later on clicking Account. All the Account page has is ways to change my countersign, purchases, stuff about Rewards, apps I might like, etc. At that place's nothing about WHEN the lock screen shows or password is required, but editing the password.
I've looked and looked, and I can't detect annihilation about the lock screen except how to change the background motion-picture show.
Help please! All ideas and suggestions are appreciated!!
